The journey starts with preparation. Are we staying in the Netherlands or are we crossing the border?
Where is your pet actually going and through which countries does our route take us? What are the regulations for your pet(s) in these countries?
Did you know that in Germany, for example, not all dogs are welcome? Or are admitted under very strict conditions?
Do you comply with all the rules of the (transit) countries? Then we can continue with your pet(s).
The trip is planned, but does your pet meet the rules for traveling abroad?
In very general terms, we can say that your dogs (and cats) in the European Union must comply with these rules:
- In possession of an (EU) Passport
- Registered chip or tattoo*
- Valid Rabies vaccination
Of course, there are additional requirements per country or region. There are currently no general guidelines for rodents and poultry.
Because you are not going to travel with your pet(s) yourself, Paws & Go needs your permission.
We will arrange this digitally in advance or within a few minutes before departure when the driver meets you.
We also check the chip or tattoo of your pet(s) upon departure and receive the passports of your animals until arrival at your destination.
